I've only just found out there's a Decemberists colab with someone called Olivia Chaney, and the band's balled Offa Rex. And they do Willie O'Winsbury and Blackleg Miner. And I've just ordered it.
I'm back in, listened to a couple of their old albums and an EP over the weekend. I heart The Island/Come and See/The Landlord's Daughter so much.
Really enjoying The Clientele’s Music for the Age of Miracles. Dreamy sixties-ish psychedelic pop crossed with Foxbase Alpha-era Saint Etienne all fronted by a softly spoken Hampshire chap with a touch of reverb.
Snarky Puppy are one of those bands most people have never heard of despite them selling out huge venues when they turn up on tour. They’ve got a massive following in Glasgow.
Cheers temps. On them already. Think it was someone here or it could have been google suggested. Bunch of players from a bunch of great artists get together and be amazing. It's good stuff.
Skerret's posting is ok to trip balls to and read just to experience the ambience but don't expect any content. "I'm jealous of sucking major dick!"~ Kernowgaz
I liked Janelle Monae's first album, I've also got much love for the dadrock swagger of Road to Hell pt.2 as standalone track, but the Carpenters are gold.
