Heck, there's even a thread dedicated to folk following American sports teams that are just ripe for it but no one there gets this level of shite, do they? Just me? Alright then. Bordering.
Banter is banter, and I can give and take it, but after this long, over something so bloody trivial, with just the one person taking particular exception to it, it grates. I can't be bothered.
It's not really the "wahh bad man hates me liking Juventus", it's more the "it's a completely normal thing that many people do on this forum/in real life but I seem to be singled out for it" thing. I shouldn't have to justify absolutely anything I give my enthusiasm towards, whether it be a sports team or a band or a Chinese take away or whatever. But here we are. Time and time again.
The Dankula reference is more to the "lol its just funny" reasoning used. If I've caused offence for seemingly comparing it to anti-semitism then I apologise. Not my intention.
But this is what we get. I'm expressing exasperation at having to see this nonsense any time I mention a football team. I've tried the back and forths, I've tried the ignorance, but still, here we are.
So yeah, it's bordering on that.

I apologize for my previous comments having a go at you, which were not jokes, but they were started in the context of you feeling as if you had one over the Spurs fans for the champion's league. I suppose what I should have done is complain that you hurt my feelings, right? But that isn't me.
I only wish I had started parodying your Juve/Italy fandom earlier, because it is funny and it is in some contexts the proper subject of a joke(when you shoehorn it into spaces it doesn't belong, like yesterday, or refer to "us" or "my club".) Because obviously, then you would have seen it for a joke, instead of some kind of personal thing, which genuinely it isnt. (I love you and want the best for you, career wise, girl wise, driving wise etc). I just think your Juve fandom is hilarious beyond belief and I'll never stop thinking that. Yesterday's jokes came naturally because I realised instead of reacting badly to your posts, I really just seize the funny side. And I did.
So I don't apologise for the jokes, only the background against which they happened, which is my fault.
However, it is pretty clear the consensus is pretty much that I shouldn't make jokes like this. So this forum just isn't for me, I'm afraid. I want the best for all of you but you all or most of you say or do funny things and I am still, mostly, here for the lols. I seem to have offended a lot of you, I don't understand why you don't just put me on ignore, but anyway, Ive asked gman and Petey to delete my account

A couple of jokes on their own might well be funny, after all the shit you've already given Gav on this they aren't.
