Just spoke to Mum. I told her we had a pleasant 32 while walking round Borobudur temple. She tells me London is a horrible sweaty 34-37. I laughed. As if.
Then I checked my iPhone weather app. Can someone verify how hot it is in London please. Is it that hot?!
It’s a rare moment when I’m pleased to be on Thameslink with their air-conditioned trains, which I join early enough in the journey to be sure of getting a seat.
So I was expecting thunderstorms and torrential rain. Last night the heavens opened and me and my wife were like ‘FUCK YES’ and ran outside, it had already stopped.
Edit: @cosmicjellybean
Aye, same here last night.
Wife came home with kids about 7:30pm, and she was "OMG huge thunderstorms at 8pm" and got the kids all in a flap....i'm in the garden looking up at a few wisps of cloud and thinking "not likely"
An hour later some cloud drifted over, i hear the patter of rain on the conservatory so wander over to watch it kick off...and the rain stopped before it even made the whole path damp.
Been at the caravan five minutes, got unpacked and wanted to go for a wander and it's just started pelting it down. I'm blaming you crying southron tartlets.
