The Fortean Times forum is being jettisoned by the magazine as it's just a financial burden. So somebody is setting up an alternative forum and everyone is migrating there. Sounds like a story I've heard somewhere else. They are also a long running, closely-knit bunch of decent people.
I can see how Tupilaq might be popular here based on the image, despite sounding like the lesser known Inuit Tupac.

Rather interesting interview with a guy who is experienced in statement analysis and his thoughts on the Madeline McCann case.
It is genuinely thought provoking. It is undermined somewhat by who is interviewing this guy as he is a bit of a consipiracy nut - but - even accounting for that - this is unsettling.
You can cut the pre-amble by skipping to around 30mins.
Normally a conspiracy nut video will hold my attention for a few minutes; largely due to the amount of conjecture that is spouted. The interviewer would be in that category - he is in the "moon landing is false" camp for example and believes the McCann case is a government aided coverup.
The interviewee however is neutral and engaging. He kept me watching. Despite attempts at loaded questions by the interviewer on occasion he remained impartial and only talked about what he would conclude based on the transcripts.
His conclusions are dynamite enough without trying to escalate them into something more.
I don’t know, guys. A quick google suggests that the only source for him being an expert in statement analysis is himself, or conspiracy bloggers he’s closely associated with.
He keeps stressing that she’s missing. At the point these comments are made, she’s been missing longer than she was alive, and there’s evidence that she’s probably dead. Yes, I get that parents hope, but it’s not unreasonable to talk about her in the past tense.
I watched it the other day and I agree, some of the things he says about statement analysis are really interesting, but at the same time it's not clear what his actual credentials are and he's analysing an interview made a couple of years after the initial statements to the police and after several other interviews to journos also asking questions
Tinfoil hat mode activated: They did it, probably an accidental overdose of some over the counter drowsiness inducing medicine.
"Let me tell you, when yung Rouj had his Senna and Mansell Scalextric, Frank was the goddamn Professor X of F1."
It's called the hunters moon or something. It happens in autumn and it's like an optical illusion, the moon appears bigger when it's low on the horizon and also when it's orange rather than white. So in autumn you get a combo of the moon being full and appearing low on the horizon and being illuminated orange by the sub going down.
