A six (!) player scrolling beat 'em up by Tribute Games, who developed Flinthook (which will forever remain a few tweaks away from being one of the greatest roguelikes ever), Panzer Paladin (which more left-to-right retro fans should play), Ninja Senki DX (which Muzzy and I disagreed on) and Mercenary Kings (meh), among others. It appears to be more simplistic than Streets of Rage 4 - which revitalised the genre but may remain forever unassailable as the one true king of its type - but the Turtles scrolling beat 'em ups were never particularly deep so it looks to be true to its roots. Expect plenty of carnage and an emphasis on crowd control, tons of polish and some toe-tapping tunes.
Who will like it?
Yoss, Monkey, retroking, JonB, wariospeedwagon, wookie, NickMD, Eric and plenty of other badgers.
Who won't like it?
Elf. Unless Cinty likes it, in which case we'll have ourselves quandary.
Online co-op is in, so use the thread to arrange a convenient time to stand for what you believe in.
In for that at some point, their games eventually seem to get to the 50% off mark though (Battle Axe looks absolutely superb to me, visually, but the reviews are so mixed I haven't even jumped in at half price yet).
