I managed some time on Christmas NiGHTS Into Dreams HD (setting up my Saturn would be a pain) and set a new personal best on Spring Valley. I then watched some YouTube videos of high scores which made me feel totally inadequate, lol.
Had a brief game of Sonic Frontiers, and now it’s Boxing Day lunch at Mrs Prime’s mum’s, before watching the football later.
I’m hoping to test my Mega Drive Mini 2 at some point.
Christmas Nights has some lovely little mini games that you unlock. I find Link mode oppressively addictive. Haven't booted up Atari 50 on Switch yet. Will put that right today.
All day wave race 64 with my brother we just played the same two tracks over and over rather than play single player to unlock more. All day ocarina of time the next year. Final fantasy 7, amazing times
That OOT Christmas was immense. I remember buying my own copy of the game on release day (my first Nintendo game ever) and trying to get hold of my sister's boyfriend's N64 for the next fortnight. He finally gave in and lent it to me on Christmas Eve on the proviso that he got it back the next day, but I took it to my nan's with me for Christmas dinner and stayed over for a night or two until I finished it. Bit cunty, but it served him right for constantly pulling up outside the house playing Flat Beat at full volume while revving his engine (a few months later, but in hindsight I consider it a pre-emptive strike...)
I've unlocked all the stuff on the Chocobo GP battle pass thing so it's just collecting various currencies to unlock stuff now (along with ploughing on with the Story and Series Race modes).
Decided to start Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons on the ol' Analogue Pocket as well. Haven't gone much retro gaming in the last 12 months since last Christmas for some odd reason.
