Love that sequence and have the accompanying tune in my head regularly.
In fact the whole soundtrack is great and on Spotify, or there are 1hr+ 'ambience from rdr2' vids on YouTube that are good bg music for working/chilling.
I caught all the legendary fish and the fancy animals. I never ever do shit like this in games. I just wish this sold as much as GTA so they’d make these instead. If we ever get another it’s surely about a decade away?
This is what I'm hoping for as well tbh, I never played the story in the original more than the first couple of hours, it was a mp and free roam game for me. After finishing 2 I dug it out with my 360 and started, but then there are always rumours of a remaster so I figured I'd wait. Plus there are loads of QoL touches that could be applied - having your horse kick you off if you drained it's stamina (which was v.quickly done) was mega frustrating.
Great to see RDR getting a lot of love. I haven't really played since Covid lockdown but have been thinking about it a lot. Sometimes when I'm doing the washing up or something I'll absentmindedly talk like Arthur. You're alright booy. It's one of those games I'm happy to watch half hour youtubes of, where it's just a guy talking about different characters or stories. Thinking a replay might be my next big game after Zelda.
When you got movies like Tom Cruise in them, you can't lose
Still playing this. Looking to get all of the legendary animals and fish, visit all the graves and fuck up all of the gangs. On top of that, exploring the rest of the map from RDR is brilliant - having great flashbacks to the first game, seeing how somewhere like Tumbleweed ends up like it does in the original, maybe due to your actions in this game. Armadillo being a disease ridden hellhole, Thieves Landing just getting going.
Visiting all of the old haunts, killing the scum that's moved it, taking in the sheer beauty of this game and the living breathing world it's created. I never thought Witcher 3 could be beaten, but this is a once in a lifetime experience.
