I think they said both gens? This worries me, I don't know whether it is a legitimate worry or not though.acemuzzy wrote:What systems is it coming out on? Both + PC?

The game apparently features a single player campaign, multiplayer, and best of the bunch... 4 player co-op. Huzzah! That could really be brilliant.Polish developer Techland - the studio that created Dead Island - explained on Facebook that the older consoles "just couldn't run the game and stay true to the core vision".
It's a core vision that includes an open-world, and fluid, free-running traversal of it. Plus, there's all the lighting and physics that the newer machines are capable of. They add up to the "truly next-gen experience" Techland wants to create.
"Therefore, after thorough internal testing, we have come to the conclusion that we have no choice but to leave past-gen systems behind and release Dying Light exclusively on the next-gen consoles and PC," Techland explained.
"Put simply, older consoles just couldn't run the game and stay true to the core vision of Dying Light at the same time. "
