I think Sharefactory might be my favourite thing about this gen so far. This is a place to share all your lovingly created gaming moments made with the editors on PS4 and Bone.
My main gripe is that you can only record a maximum of 15 minutes at once on Sharefactory which is ok for a play through of The Order but lacking for anything of actual substance.
I thought that the fifteen minutes was only the rolling limit, and that using a double tap (or whatever) to initiate a recording session allowed for longer recording.
I generally like it, but the whole system needs refinement. I've said it before elsewhere, but right now it's horribly spread out over different sections. In order to stop the ShareFactory program going into meltdown, it's better to trim it first. That means making as though to export the file to fb, YouTube or dailymotion, trimming it, then cancelling out and going into ShareFactory.
ShareFactory itself is an unintuitive, clumsy mess, I'd often rather drop the video files onto USB and handle them in iMovie. If you do use SF, you then have to export the video, and go back into the share menu. Then, once you've uploaded to YouTube, you may want to go into another YouTube to remove all the unwanted tags that the PlayStation added.
I'm also tired of going to upload a nice bit of gameplay to find that the rolling recording hasn't been.
