So there's one of them Spatfests coming up on the 1st I think.
Is that something we can do together? I chose the 'keep fit' side without really thinking about it.
I'm completely smitten with this now. It really is a Nintendo shooter. Hit rank B in the ranked battles and doing ok in the paint the floor list (although my slightly OCD need to fill in all the little gaps is perhaps slowing me down a bit).
Now xmas is quietening down I should be around most evenings this week for some games.
I won't be home during New Years, spending a couple of days in Bruges, not sure if taking the WiiU with me would be an option. Splatfests are the best way to spend a Sunday afternoon.
Anyway, my NNID should be myHighness, so if you can't find yours, just add me JRPC.
You need the twin screen thing so you can jump about/fast travel the maps and direct your remote airsplat ordinance iirc? Ahhh.. great game is our Splatoon..
Haven't played in a while and it's like I'm world champion or something. 15 games and only failed to be the leading scorer of either side once. Does nobody get the actual concept of this yet? IT'S ABOUT THE GROUND.
I've not been on for ages and it's better than ever. Conveyor belts on the Piranha Pit are a great idea, and now it's a matter of experimenting to see if it's worth the extra time covering both sides to form strong defensive/attacking points. Smart.
It's hard to begrudge it's minor quibbles - which are only quibbles because we're used to having them in other online shooters. Splatoon games are only 3 minutes long and arguably don't need in-game loadouts and the rest of it, and I now enjoy the lack of voice chat.
Squad ranked battles are new and surely this forum can get 4 people on at the same time???
