Last night I woke at 2am and couldn't get back to sleep. The wind howled outside and shadows danced around the room, I could swear I could hear the Xenomorph hissing. This game has gotten right in my head now. Love it
Not everything is The Best or Shit. Theres many levels between that, lets just enjoy stuff.
I am really very intrigued now - from all reports it sounds like this nails the IP/license in a way that only Batman Arkham Asylum comes close to nailing.
@LazyGunn
There's a Reddit page where people are working on unofficial OR support that may be of interest to you here.
Seems to work to a reasonable degree, though obviously it's a very different experience to the official OR demo section of the game.
Here's a video of a guy playing it with the Rift...

So yesterday I didn't manage to get to the lift in Mission 3 since I managed to spot the Xeno on the opposite balcony and cleverly used the re-wire to attract him towards me without realising. Did it this morning without seeing it but definitely heard something moving in the vents. Great feeling in the gut as you hack doors without knowing where it is.
Nah, possibly if you went back to the start game screen it would give you mission options for ones you've completed?
I'm quoting mission numbers because occasionally after I finish a difficult section I look at the IGN guide here to see if I've missed anything vital, and they seem to have names and numbers for the various missions.
Ok. Arrived on Sebastopol. Been here 2 minutes and I don't even want to carry on. the sense of BEING there is HUGE. The worry and anticipation and the fucking sound effects on our projector system. It's HORRIBLE.
I find myself backing into corners and simply shutting down in terror when I hear noises around me. The sound design is shit-my-pants amazing. I have stopped playing. Can't take the tension anymore for a bit. Still haven't seen it.....
The sound of "something" moving in vents is ace. Also makes me wonder why enemies don't notice players in vents more often generally in games. It's a noisy mode of travel even for apex predators.
Cheapest high street place to get this for the xbone? Nothing seems to match the £38 offered by amazon, but I need this now (or by Saturday to be precise, when the wife is out for the night)
She's staying at her folks. This leaves me free to spend the whole evening playing this, but may result in me seeking refuge in my wardrobe at bedtime as I'll be on my lonesome.
Anyone have this on 360? I have it but still haven't plucked up the courage to delve in. Doesn't seem to be the game to have a brief blast on when you get in from work...
