So I never gave this a proper chance when it came out but it seems to be steadily gaining in popularity (based on twitch numbers anyway) and its only £25 now so I picked it up on the weekend. Only played 5 or so hours but its been great so far. Wasn't expecting it to be so cerebral and tactical as I had a slightly different experience in the few games of the beta I played.
I don't know what to make of this just yet. I played a couple of T-Hunt games on line and it all seems a little fast paced, well compared to the Vegas games anyway.
Maybe it's the lack of a cover mechanism?
It's glitchy as fook as well.
Three TH games played, one was abandoned because a lone terrorist attacker couldn't be found.
I eventually found him, stuck, repelling up the side of the building just as the host abandoned the session.
And unlocking operators (geezers) can see the game locking up. Very bad.
Ok. Quite a few TH games under my belt now.
I think team awesome would actually like this (TH at least).
The varying types of hunt are interesting, it seems fairly solid.
I'll have to try the harder difficulties.
I keep trying with the idea. It's £26 at the Argos and I have a £15 voucher...

The defend the bomb mode is flappy pants time.
You have Limited visibility because of some chemical weapon in the air - you have to find the bomb, diffuse it and wait. While it's diffusing the AI attack en masse, storming through the windows etc...
It's pretty good stuff.

I swear to god a good 70% of all my deaths are down to other players and not AI.
You really need to show trigger/line of fire discipline to do well.
NO ONE uses the drones they just pile in looking for kills, so by the time you get to the objective four out of five players have a slither of health left.
The other thing they do is assault with unsuppressed weapons making a absolute racket, then they run off to another floor leaving you behind in the uncleared floor with the AI running to investigate from all angles.
