I wonder whether the few bosses that literally filled the screen with enemies were anomalies, as since then I've just been pissing through everything without a care in the world. I've only filled 3 of my ability slots as that combo deals with anything the game throws at me.
I'm kind of at the D3 point again now where the dungeons seem to drag as I just obliterate anything in sight and then get new loot. The new loot is the crack that's keeping me going, but I'm not finding it very.....exciting tbh.
Felt like I was speed running it today to get the horse unlocked but it's done. Time to slow down and tick off side stuff. Anyone wants to hit up some strongholds over the next couple days hit me up.
Well right now it actually is. Requests to join are sent to me, which I then approve in the form of an invite sent back to you, when you accept that it's all done. I've approved the three that have came so far, you just accepted your invite first.
I left the game last night with a fair bit of progress into that place where you have to burn a bit of wood with a sin on it to enter. Now, on loading up, all that progress seems to be gone and I'm back at that poxy little town that you go to after the first village.
Evade towards a crowd, drop a Foot Stomp that fells most enemies, also creates an earthquake in the area those fell to damage them even more. I generate fury with the Foot Stomp so then I start whirling. I've got extra crit chance and crit damage as long as its kept on. I also have an aspect that very regularly spawns the relevant Ancient from Call Of The Ancients whenever Whirl, Upheaval or Final Blow is used, so then most of the time, my wee Ancient guy is there whirling too. If there's a Elite enemy there I also generate massive amounts of fury when using whirlwind so I can essentially keep it held in as long as an Elite is there. Oh and once I generate 100 fury, me next attack spawns a sand tornado for very decent damage. Once my fury starts running out I then switch to Final Blow. I've an aspect on a legendary that gives me massive damage with that move when used on an Elite, and also a second 'charge' of the move, so essentially two in the clip. Once that all runs out, back to Foot Stomp and repeat....
I'm basically only at the shout and whirlwind right now. Bang the shout out, smash a couple of fools then spin like a mother fucker wrecking things. It's glorious fun.
Quick one here of me melting three elites in a confined space. Funny couple of secs where my whirl fury runs out and it's just my character spinning doing nothing lol
I'm by no means a one hundred perfect optimised stat chaser in this, I mostly just equip what I think looks cool. Gonna have to give up the foot stomp earthquake soon though. It's an imprint from another weapon so can't keep reusing it on new weapons. I'm picking up gloves that are close to +100 what I have on, but man that earthquake is a life saver at the start of battles to get a massive chunk done.
Stupid fuxking diablo and it's stupid fucki g bosses and AoE damage and immunities and fucking fucking strongholds and fuck this my build iss sshite and aaargehhehrhrhrbbfbfhfjfjf
All I know is if you exit the game while in a dungeon or cellar etc off the map, you come back in at the last "big" town you were in, likely Kyovashad in the beginning.
