Yoss, really don’t know why you’ve suddenly got it in for Horizon 2, no one has ever said they can’t get on with the game because the cars don’t turn except you bud. Horizon 4’s handling seems built along a more arcade feel and dare say younger market, from the lighter handling to the juvenile presentation.

If 2 was in 60fps it'd probably eliminate most of the input lag issues, and as for tunes, just auto-upgrade. It's all we ever did, tbh. Paint job schmaint job *shrug*.

It'd be interesting to go back and read T10's interviews around the launches of FM 5 & 6. I'm sure there were major updates to their engine which, I believe anyway, eventually changed the fabric of Horizon's version of that engine, though.

Right now it's just more the vibe and the tracks that keep 2 so dear in our hearts at this point. At the time, and for the two years afterwards before 3, it was the pinnacle, and the times spent on it gave it a lot of leeway banked in the majority of the FNF faithful of that era. I can see why someone who didn't partake until much later on can see the game your way Yoss, but I respectfully disagree one hundred million percent.

60FPS would probably help a bit, but 3’s still at 30 and the input lag isn’t as bad on that. Seems to be something else going on as well.

I suppose that it’s probably worth remembering with my criticisms of 2 that I don’t like racing games generally. I got into Forza more for the laughs than anything else. That changed for me with 4 which hit on a handling model that I actually really enjoyed engaging with an attempting to master. The shame of that is that now when I play 2 and 3 I’m comparing their handling model to 4 instead of just slamming into trees and laughing.

It’s really not surprising that I don’t enjoy the earlier games which don’t feature that handling model. The only real surprise is that I actually got into 4.

I know it's the right thing to obey it, but that app is a liability. I had two alerts, keeping me in for almost 20 straight days - despite having not left the house for weeks beforehand. No one else in my immediate family, including my wife, had the same issues, despite me being with them all of the time.

I’ve done a test and it’s come up negative. I’d be tempted to ignore it if it weren’t for the fact that my brother turns 40 on Sunday, and if I’m ignoring the notification for anything, it will be for that.

Going to isolate until Sunday then do another test and make a decision based on that.

Same here Syph. I isolated for 11 days then worked out it was because my next door neigbour who we are attached too and sleeps against the same wall I do had tested positive.

The apps great but I'm not surprised it can't differentiate if there's a wall in between us or not.

The app is garbage but I'll be happy for any excuse not to go out.
I've got a late meeting tonight so unfortunately had to cancel a friend and his partner coming to see us but if I'm honest, the idea of socialising just makes me start to feel anxious.

I'm very happy to have to stay in and miss social events.
