Mrs poprock is going out this evening, so I might manage to get some Forza time. It’ll be early on (and sober) if I do, I need to be able to drive a real car and pick up the Mrs from a train later on.
It was a great track list last night (thanks Ian) and if it is any consolation Gav, that was the best race imo, mixing up American muscle and Japanese tuning, had a good yo yo-ing thing going for it.
What won me it was my trying out F1 2020 this week. Doing all those laps you end up really trying with feathering throttle coming out of corners to shave time off. Kept me in good stead for a twisty city track like that one.
Just wish I arrived earlier! Ah well, should be free all of next Friday anyway.
If you’re still playing through the prologue/intro then it’s about building up enough influence points before the game lets you move on.
Best way to gain influence is just to do more races. Make sure you finish and continue – just restarting the same race doesn’t award you any.
I guess the other big tip is building up skill multipliers, but that’s a bit more advanced and you can easily get through the prologue without worrying about it.
If you’ve already done the prologue and gone through all the seasons once, then from there on the seasons change weekly - not based on your progress. You just have to wait for the season to change for all of us at the same time.
Grand. New season day each week is when you get a new set of challenges, races, and rewards to do. Nothing massively different, this far into the game’s life, but early on it included a lot of major additions with whole new game modes etc.
