I made outlines. It's just version01DEFnotFinal version, but it took me so long to figure this out. It's a custom pass with a shader that I found in the unity docs, changed a little bit to combine different tresholds for where outlines appear.
It's still voodoo, and there are a few ways to go about outlines, so need to test out more. Headache stuff.
(this is also for a project I'm still working on, so no sharing, even though it's not finished and it's an art project, so not as high end as Liv's)
@the Unreal crew: If you hit the limit of what blueprint scripting can handle in unreal though you face a pretty steep cliff for c++ dev in unreal, whereas c# script in unity is a lot more approachable.
Will be interesting to see if PS5 extra SSD bandwidth makes a difference both to the Nanite vertex cluster streaming and the work they’re putting into the world sector streaming.
