There's obviously a lot of Nioh still in there, but with a slice of Sekiro with all the parrying. It's good that they've split the block and parry buttons, I think, because you can hold block while parrying, which makes it more forgiving against normal attacks. All the stuff about spirit and morale and fortitude seems confusing at first, but it's quite straightforward really.
Anyway, the demo effectively means you can start playing now for a couple of levels, because progress carries forward, so you can get a good taste for it.
