A+ ing ch.4 Light levels. and enjoying it.   Teeing up for the Dark World.

Loving this.

Just got a couple of the first Dark levels of ch.4 done. Heh. Really cranking up .  I have still to A+ ch.4-20 in Light World. It's a bit of a puzzle that one - I have to time my run to enter the lava chamber as the level is low and is dropping otherwise I lose too much time waiting for it to cycle. Seems the quicker I get there the worse it is...unless it's possible to get through it on the first cycle. Have been close but doesn't feel possible*



* Which probably means it is!

Didn't start playing until later tonight so a bit tired. All but 1 of the first 7 Dark levels of Hell/ch.4 done. The one out of that 7 I haven't managed yet is 4-3X - the ascent against the fast rising tide of lava. The Light one is tricky enough but this seems to give you less time and there's a final jump through 2 buzzsaws which is the coup de grace.  Have got close but it's a real hand wrecker. The 3rd jump is a real killer - any mistake at all and you don't grip the wall enough to do the 4th jump.

Have had a couple of goes at the glitch worlds. I can get past the first section of the first one but then I'm baffled - there's then a sequence of 1 brick wide towers with a spike on the top...going to be a real bastard to beat that one.  Got a decent way into the ch.2 one but have hit a real killer sequence of jumps that have to be performed perfectly to avoid hitting the ceiling - the worst type for me.

Had fun with this one..

The jump you have make just before you drop down the shaft onto the moving platform about half way is one of the toughest I've come across so far. It looks so innocuous.

It’s such a great game. I bought a PS5 in the summer and since then I have basically played zero games on it and only played Meat Boy and Meat Boy Forever on my Switch. Each time I think ‘Let’s get into Red Dead Redemption a bit more’ and I just end up on Meat Boy.

I get these in my YouTube recommended feed now, which is nice.

4-11X was a real bastard. At one point I thought I had reached my skill limit. But perseverance. It's amazing how skills improve almost imperceptibly toward making something impossible possible.. All credit to the controls and physics of this game. 

cleared 4-12X quickly but 4-13X is a collapsing wall job which is going to be very tricky.

Got the A+ on 4-20 at last.

"Just" 4-17X and 4-20X to clear the dark world levels now before moving onto ch.5.  
4-17X has that bloody mouth shaped homing missile that breaks up into 8 pieces and is a real cunt to deal with.

Picked up a few bandages in earlier chapters too.

61% complete with 38hrs on the clock...wonder if I can 100% this in <100hrs. 

You're kinda making me consider having another play through but I know my muscle memory will have gone so it'll be like doing it from scratch again and I'm not sure I have the mental fortitude. Enjoying the updates tho.

Cracked 4-20X. Have moved onto the ch.5 The Rapture and getting the A+ Lights pretty quickly. The dark levels will be another wall though. 

Loving the soundtrack on ch.5. I prefer the 2010 soundtrack to 2015.
