Woah, woke up to another hard days night from Petey, sterling work.

Much much prefer the post body to the right of the avatar, the main list is looking much neater now as well. It's only the Announcement flag stopping them all lining up.

Just to be clear, all the suggestions are just suggestions, the bloody thing works wonderfully and it's a roof over our heads, I'd have been happy if you'd stopped work Monday.

I'm still mindfull that the two biggest problems are IE issues and work filters, as those are actively impeding people posting here - I think I'm going to have to convince the missus that saturday is for coding.

You probably already know this, but IE9 will pretend to be version 7 or 8 from the Developer toolbar, which is handy and might help trace a fault.

I said elsewhere I've seen IE behave badly with forums that have java editors, there might be a less intensive script version/redirect for IE on the Vanilla site, I'll have a look if you like.

Yeah, I've tried that, but for whatever reason it just works absolutely fine (with the exception of fewer rounded corners). I may have to play around a bit - could set up a "beta" forum on a subdomain so I can make changes for people to test, without disrupting too much here.

Which browser?

FF: Menu > History > Clear Recent History
Chrome: Menu > Settings > Under the Bonnet > Clear browsing data

Set the time period to be an hour or two, only tick "Cache", then wipe it.

A few minor things which I've noticed and which really aren't priorities.

The new posts highlighting on the bookmarks is still yellow.

I don't like the blue for the notifications number personally, any chance it can be either just white on maroon or the other way around?

The latest post thing always says 'at' even when the time becomes a date. Reading at May 1st makes me want to pull out my red pen and error correct my screen.

I'm wondering if we need to change the dimensions of posts slightly. They look like they've got too much space above and below the text. Everything looks a little cramped at the edges, but with plenty of vertical space. I think they just need to be evened out a bit.

Is there anyway to resize/remove avatars from the activity page? 100x100 seems to break the nesting.

Could we make the bookmarked star some sort of light maroon rather than yellow?

I reckon that the boxed numbers in the discussion section should be white on maroon rather than white on grey to fit in with everything else.

I'm sure I've forgotten something else as well.

The problem is that too much maroon just makes everything bleed together. Having the thread titles in maroon on the listing page, for instance, was just an eye sore. I'll see what works, though.

Also, fixed the activity page.

The general spacing in and around the posts looks fine to me now. A smidge extra on the bottom might be nice but that's about it.

Yeah - if you click the B&B banner it shows the page where you can select a category (Games, OT, Forum Talk) - hover over one and an "Options" dropdown shows - click it and there's a "Mark Read" thingy but I don't think it does anything yet.
