Finished Hexcells. Started Hexcells Plus and it's kinda back to the beginning in terms of mechanics. Does it introduce new stuff (e.g. mechanics) later? Or just more (and more difficult?) versions with the exact same set of rules?
Meanwhile, I've come up with my own puzzle game idea. Think it needs a proof of concept, and while I think it's a rich idea I'm not sure how easy it will be to write good levels. Birdo, I assume you're happy to play guinea pig / contribute levels. Nice one.
Can't remember whether there are new mechanics, certainly nothing significant if at all. It does get much trickier though.
There are a couple of new mechanics (questions marks & blue numbers thus far), though nothing earth shattering. Still enjoying chugging through them slowly, but still finding they're a bit too easy. Very rare that you need to look more than one move ahead at a time. Still, cathartic.
