Skyrim properly broke into the mainstream at the time it was released too. I remember proper FIFA-type kids at school getting really into it. Momentum lost there.
I know it's great for Bethesda and all but I wish filthy casual scum would kindly leave the RPG genre alone. It's bad enough they've tainted everything else and we've been fed #iWin simulators as a consequence.
This is why I want a Morrowind update/remaster. Or ya know, I was also thinking last night. Why not have the option when starting a new game in say Skyrim to disable fast travel. And the only way to have it is to start again. I know people say oh just don't use it but I've no will power when I know something is there. On the other hand if there were options to disable it one would be forced to stick to certain principles.
Kinda reminds me of when I started my Hardcore character in Diablo 3 and regretted it after 40 levels but had to keep on trucking.
That started with Oblivion, it was down on lots of stuff you could do in Morrowind. Can't remember what now like, but the part of me that loves dressing up my characters is screaming pauldrons at me.
Having a great time on this. Playing exclusively on mobile now. With a pair of good headphones and the lights dimmed it's quite an engrossing experience. Very impressed with the performance and to be honest the graphical fidelity isn't a hige issue on the 720p screen.
Yeah, mine are wired so not sure about your query. I would imagine - as is always the case - there will be an iteration on the Switch sometime within the next 12 months that adds some much needed features and ports.
That’s a surprise. My feelings about Skyrim VR was, personal opinion regarding the game aside, the VR version looked ropey as all fuck. Then again, a lot of VR games don’t look great when presented outside of VR, so that may well be the case again.
Is that the murderer on the loose quest? Don't think it's level specific. Have you visited the graveyard? There should be a priest blathering on a bit by a tombstone....
It wasn't until I hit my thirties that I realised you could unlock rewards by exploring the map
So I'm alternating between a level 46 on PS4 where the whole things is a lot smoother, especially the sticks and I got attacked by Death Hounds today! Never seen them before, and a low level on Switch.
Can't seem to get Blood on the Ice to trigger on either.. christ.
I’ve started playing this again on Switch recently, decided I wanna become a full time Smith, spent ages on Sunday mining and smelting and gonna start working on crafting the best gear I can, selling and repeating.
Not everything is The Best or Shit. Theres many levels between that, lets just enjoy stuff.
I even picked up my Switch game over the last week or two as something to fill in the time until Octopath drops. My character is something ridiculous like level 115.
Anyone know how weapon hit rate was translated to VR version? Is the DPS simply based on how fast you can swing shit yourself, or are you limited to how often your swings actually register?
