It's just a Swedish default - we don't do patriotism or any kind of inkling of proudness we do self-hate and/or disgust-of-patriotism. Which is why a band like Pascal is funny, while also being able to sound like a gaping wound. Because it isn't that funny, not really.

Just finished High Society and it reminded me how utterly brilliant Frank Sinatra was. If you haven't heard this album, I really recommend it. It is a masterpiece and one of the earliest concept albums.

Always thought this album would be considered to belong to the classic era, if it has been released in place of The Secret Life of Plants. It's really damn good.
