No I hate Grouse, work gets me a bottle every Xmas, last year I swapped it for 20 Marlboro Light but I haven't smoked since July so I thought I'll keep it for emergencies. That night was an emergency, the emergency being I had no other whisky in the house. I prefer the smooth stuff to the smokey and I figure this doesn't make me in someway not a true whisky drinker. I likes what I likes, unfortunately smokey peat flavours ain't part of my likes!WorKid wrote:You like Grouse but dislike Talisker? God damn it just when I was starting to like you...

Moto70 wrote:Is it a temperature or a slight diluting thing you don't agree with? The bloke in France seemed happy enough to let me add a cube to it and I prefer the taste when it's slightly chilled so what is it I'm doing that's so wrong? In fact I thought some dilution was often recommended? I personally hate it when it's heavily diluted.
