Circuit Superstars is a racing game 'built by racing fans, for racing fans'. Reviews invariably mention Micro Machines but it's a bit of a stretch. They're vaguely similar I guess, but I didn't see any corn on the cobs or sponge ferries during my playthrough.
It really is a quality TT racer imo, so I was hoping to get a few badgers to take part in a time trial on the Top Gear track, and post their times. If there's enough interest I'll pick another track afterwards, if not - make the most of this one.

Someone having a crack at the Top Gear track:
It's currently 25% off on Xbox (down to £11.70ish), roughly the same price on Steam. No discount yet on PSN, no sign of the promised Switch port either.
I've done a table just in case, happy to keep updating it but happier not to bother. Going by the 12 points for first place, then 10, 8, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 format I pinched off retroking for the Mario Golf thread, it currently looks like this:
I know what you mean and it is there, but there's slightly more grip and less drift than you might expect. You can definitely chuck the back end out though.
Game looks nice, think i might have been following the developer on twitter a while back as looks familiar.
How is it for multiplayer, local and online? Could be tempted by it if it's good fun local multi to play with the kids and also online to play with badgers maybe?
Had a quick go earlier. Local 2 player was fine, could still see ok. Handling seems a nice mix of the arcade style you'd expect with a smidge of realism in needing to brake and apex etc for best time.
First bash at top gear tt, only had a couple runs and not sure i got a clean lap but think it was 31.5xx (just to set an early target and top the leader board )
33.310 as a time on the board. Took me a while to figure out which way the track even went lol. Greyed out restart button is odd, but holding Y does the job. Plenty of time to be shaved off still, 4s at least apparently!
Would have been better but I kept fucking up the final two bends so decided to play it safe there that lap. Oh well, at least I'm now even beating Ram's fictitious time, as well as his real one.
