Yer, picked that up along the way. Clothes shopping is a minefield.Brooks wrote:General word of thing re: shirts. Avoid ones where the back darting/cinching is centred, like so: They tend to be a bit useless or worse.
Ta, am looking at Lewin. Both have 'local' online shops, will try to find physical manifestations.Stopharage wrote:Tyrwhitt are decent enough and TW Lewin are normally pretty good. Tyrwhitt allow a bit more customisation to their shirts (sleeve lengths etc) last time I ordered with them. You may want to keep a look out on hotukdeals for reduced prices for either. Try not to pay more than £20 a shirt for either as both often have multi deals on. Only issue with Tyrwhitt is that their follow-on marketing assault is brutal.Skerret wrote:Can anyone vouch for Charles Tyrwhitt?

It will become not the thing, and then it will again belong to the people who totally get it, until it becomes the thing again. I think Caleb Crye’s combat pants, for Crye Precision, will be around after the wars they were built for are forgotten, but it’s too soon to wear them now without being taken for a mall-ninja.
