I wasn't using that story as a direct analogy, I realise there's a bit more to building a new game engine than there is in replacing a drill bit, but you can see why I was put in mind of it.
I'll be a bit disappointed if Fallout 4 is just a Skyrim reskin though. How old is that game now?
