On that vid I posted it's on the right of the screen in the first couple of seconds. I'm pretty sure I've seen them just before other bosses too.acemuzzy wrote:Useful. Is that before or after the boss is done though, I've seen one like that after killing it?

3rd boss down this morning. Here it is:Realised I need to pay more attention to equip load from now on - I've been rolling heavy, which is probably why I'm struggling with the timing on those dodges.Spoiler:
Also, the key from that boss has led to something interesting:Spoiler:
Could be. That would make sense.acemuzzy wrote:No not sure. I'm going acorn cos it gives me extra esthus. Not even sure how to rank up, is it just the number of sanctuaries?
Turns out this is backwards btw, or perhaps it means something else entirely. The one with all the candles lit turned out to be piss easy, and I'm now stuck on one where no candles are lit.JonB wrote:So yes, this candle thing is quite a smart system. Went back to QoS and only 3 candles lit now - it was pretty easy. I reckon if half the candles are lit you're about the right level, any more than that and it's probably best to leave it till later.
Ah, that makes sense.Dark Soldier wrote:Candles lit = more people have completed the boss = easier. Saw that in the 20 minutes of gameplay that sold this to me.
Maybe that as well? I dunno, I'm pretty sure the mark was my last attempt went south.acemuzzy wrote:I thought that was making we you reclaim you salt?
