Why would it be a lot of faff? I actually enjoy sitting next to the bbq. Pretty sure it works as well with a rectangular pan.Kow wrote:I have a Weber Kettle barbecue but I've never thought about making a pizza in one. Seems a lot of faff for a pizza. Plus I've never made a round pizza, they're always rectangular, so they wouldn't fit in one of those dishes.
I have a really shitty oven. Last (and only) time I've used the broiler, the whole stove got hot, incl the knobs and I set off all 3 fire alarms in the house. One wouldn't stop beeping, even without a battery so B smashed that one with a hammer. I'm not really looking to recreate that.SpaceGazelle wrote:You won't get a smokey taste but a frying pan on the stove until the bottom is crispy, and then under a really grill/broiler. Have everything blazing hot and it takes about 3/4 mins.
