My parents gave me about 15 stalks yesterday so I fetched the rumtopf jar and have made some rhubarb vodka.
Layered inch cut rhubarb with sugar, poured over a couple of litres of own brand 37% vodka.
Left it under the sink to infuse/ferment.
Will stir it once a week then early August get it out, drain through muslin.
Should be a nice sour, fruity vodka.
Serve over ice with lemonade and mint.
