Nipping round me Da's to watch the narrated version of BR tonight as I've still not seen it.

Wrong version.
I've always liked the narrated version, but then again, that's probably because I saw it so many times back in the day. Unfairly maligned imo.GooberTheHat wrote:Paul the sparky wrote:I'm going on Wednesday night, so had your fucking spoilers lads.

Keep seeing the trailer to that at the cinema. It just looked like regular shit to me.regmcfly wrote:I'm off to see BR2049 on Saturday afternoon, but am more excited for Geostorm, which has an utterly nonsense production history and may finally be our big budget The Room.

The Final Cut was made by Ridley himself with studio backing when they found all the original masters still intact. It’s considered definitive.

Final (with 3 commentaries - I like that sort of thing)
US theatrical
International theatrical
Director's
Pre-release roughcut.
Also has the making of doc called Dangerous Days.
Has other stuff like trailers, featurettes. etc. More BR than you will ever want. Not sure if there is a Bluray version of that set.
I ended up also getting the 2 disc Bluray which has the Final Cut (and commentaries) and Dangerous Days on disc 2.
Also have a Gollanz Sci fi reprint of the novel - reproduction with that distinctive yellow cover. Nice.
Enjoyed this. Ta.Tempy wrote:A good video on the VHS format, which I imagine is relevant to most of us here
