In Information Security, there's a tenet that effectively says that perfect security is an illusion. And I undoubtedly appreciate that making things with computers is hard.
But it's a valid question for sure.

Been watching some of the speedruns, 007: Agent Under Fire was awesome nostalgia, loved that game when I was younger. Metal Gear Solid 3 and Rayman were great too. The Burnout Paradise one wasn't so great, doesn't make so much sense to me as a spectacle.
I find that speedrunning is good at exposing much of the underlying game logic, stuff you wouldn't have any clue was happening. Great way of showcasing the ingenious smoke and mirrors devs have to employ to make a working believable world.
Yeah honestly still looks like a blast even now. Really remember all the crazy driving sections and explosions with the signature Bond jingle when you shoot a barrel at the right moment and stuff. MP with the grappling hook thing was a lark too.
Star Fox 2 on the SNES Classic is being run currently, quite a fascinating game really. Amazing tech considering the time and the hardware, 5 FPS tho..
