Everything that happened after Sae's Palace was a lot! I was kinda spoiled on Akechi, but I was just going with the flow of the game so the way everything unraveled was still interesting. I'm not sure if I fully understand the whole killing the fake Joker. It's a lot to take in.

First person to message me after the suicide news got out was Kawakami. I'm not sure if I'm in the relationship with the correct person now. Took Tae another day to check up on me.

Am in Shido's Palace now. Have done the restaurant and pool invitation quests, looks like this will be a pretty long dungeon, with all those hallways between levels.

I know the game will be almost over after Shido, only some Mementos stuff left. Can't wait to see all the cut scenes towards the end. I'm kinda sad that I haven't managed to progress some confidants as much as I wanted. Sojiro being the main one, but I also still don't have enough guts for Iwai. I don't think any of the stats will transfer to Royal.

Black looked good on Akechi, Loki was a cool Persona and I hope he gets a funeral if whatever happened inside the Palace means he'll be dead on the outside. It's been suspiciously quite around the whole Akechi matter so far. I liked him, and his love for pancakes. Even though that was a big fault from his side.
I just secretly hope we can see his little dance after his "hold up" screen a couple more times. He won my heart there.

It's early December now, I hope I can get another confidant mementos quest unlocked before the election date. I have two, but prefer to jump into mementos with at least 3 quests. Shinya, Futaba and Chihaya are all about 3 levels away from their unlock. Stressful weeks.

Also completed the Hifumi confidant, which was good. I enjoy the silent praise for your Phantom Thieves work, it's only a little remark each time but they make me smile. Good stuff.

I don't know where to start. As always with stories that grow this big I start to feel like I lose my grip on them a bit when trying to explain or write down my thoughts about it. At some point it changes from just following a story to feeling an (emotional) connection with things the characters go through or do in certain situations.

The descent into the dark world flowing into the real world was really well done. I liked Mementos, it was a bit more of a mystery than the main palaces. The Depths felt so real and dark, I wouldn't have minded it if that was a bit longer.
However, the climb to the God could have been shorter, I liked the Angels on each floor, but didn't really need the random enemies there as well, even if there were only a couple.

I loved the art style there, but also seeing your max confidants cheer you on. Always worth it to keep pushing for your goals, even if it's just one person that has your back.

Akechi though ehm... I really hope they do a bit more with him in Royal, I liked him but then the only mention of him after you take him down in the Palace is by, I think, Sae and she just says he disappeared? Really? The boy deserved more. He is so close to being the same as Joker, and if Morgana would have found him first he might have had a different fate. "if only we met earlier".

Glad to see the team going to have some fun at the beach, they deserved it. Wonder why they would show the police car following (or trying to) them. Could be something for Royal? I wonder how they will change the time in prison for Royal, and if they do more with Akechi's end.

The game’s story was designed to be an omnibus and one of its primary influences is Water Margin, a Chinese epic (from which Suikoden takes inspiration) about 108 outlaws who fight for justice. Persona 5 takes its influences from the classic, being essentially about a band of student outlaws fighting for the truth with each new palace representing one of the different Seven Deadly Sins.

There are 7 Palaces right? Does each one represent a sin? This would also tie in with the last boss
