Ni No Kuni is just the worst game and it hates you all. That horrid, fiddly benny-hill not-quite-turn-based combat system will be nasty in handheld mode, too.
I kinda liked Ni No Kuni in spite of its obvious deficiencies. Not enough to finish it on PS3, but probably enough to take another swing at it on Switch.
I remember being disappointed by how much dialogue in Ni No Kuni was text. I appreciate that it would have been a MASSIVE undertaking with huge file-size implications, but I remember even in the short demo how quickly the text sucked me out of the promise of ‘interactive Studio Ghibli film’.
50% off Unravel Two. £12.99 is a fair price for it of you're playing in co-op. Recommended for those who play with mini badgers. Probably cheaper and lovelier looking elsewhere though, maybe not one for the small screen.
The Witcher 3 and Alien Isolation seem tasty ports from today’s Direct that I have never played. Amazing that a game like Alien Isolation can now appear on a handheld with barely a murmur from the press. Those two, as long as they play decently, plus Link’s Awakening and the BotW sequel, which will play amazingly because Nintendo, were my highlights.
That was awkward and unsettling, never post anything like it again.
