There's a screen in front of us although somewhat distant so it is hard to see the details of positions and timing (which is worse in practice and quali if anything), but it helps to get the gist of the action around the track. There is commentary over the tannoy, but it rotates between several European languages so isn't all that useful for those of us who aren't multi-lingual. Didn't bring a radio and couldn't get the BBC to stream, but will make do.
Possibly either technical with my phone (likely) or too many people using the local mobile bandwidth but I suspect my earphones would be overcome by the car engine noise and tannoy in any case.
It is far warmer and sunny now so quali likely dry, although there are still menacing clouds around...
That was a very exciting Q3, although as soon as anybody went past after the rain started coming down everyone would stand up which was a bit of a pain given the crap small seats/minimal tiering.
Wow, the game is so much better with a wheel and pedals. thankfully they have mid session saves so you dont have to do a GP in one sitting. Saved mine on lap 15 of 29.
I thought last years game was tough, messing around with the diff, brake balance and engine modes during a race. This year adding in the ERS as well, has added another layer to racing and strategy.
Very misty this morning. It will likely have cleared by the time the F1 starts after 3, but will make the support racing this morning a bit more interesting.
It's sunny, but cloudier than it was after the mist cleared this morning. No rain forecast, but that doesn't mean that it won't... It absolutely hurled it down with added hail after quali yesterday.
One of the VIP experience Mercedes truck/trailer things broke down on Eau Rouge just now. It was reversed off the track to allow the driver parade (each driver being driven in a separate classic car) to pass, before the VIPs were extracted to another truck for their tour and the original was eventually restarted and moved out of the way. Prior to that a track cleaning lorry had spent some time cleaning Eau Rouge, which involved the driver driving it up the hill cleaning before rolling it backwards down the hill again. All surprisingly entertaining really!
