Some kind of event occurs in order to split the main character into two beings. One being embodies all the character's worst traits, the other all their best.
If the character is the very embodiment of the model American then Trump is the bad side.
The good side isn't Bernie Sanders before anyone says it, Bernie isn't sexy, enough.
