The DUP alone wont make a difference. Every other party will.

She will get guarantees from the Lib Dems, SNP, Plaid and the Funny Tinge that they will all vote for it. Labour will guarantee whipping (they already have) and have an idea of the numbers involved, and who they think they can persuade. Tory whips will have an idea of their numbers. But you're talking at least 200 Labour, 35 SNP, 11 Lib Dem, 11 Funny Tinge and 4 Plaid. That's 261. I'm sure May can summon less than 100 Tories to vote for her shitty deal.

Without the amendment, all of those vote against.

It means that we have rejected Mays specific form of Brexit, and any future campaign to leave will have to campaign on a different specific form of leaving.
