I always liked the suggestion in the trailers that you were going to get something a bit more ambitious, even if the reality at the end of the game was a bit different. That GTAIV trailer was the business and even the GTAV trailer suggested something about the American dream going bad in the sunshine. The music obviously helps GTA a lot with the marketing.
This just suggested we'll be teaming up with then turning on a load of old west arseholes, it's too honest. Maybe there'll be a twist and it'll be more than that.
Just noticed the pre-order prices for this on PSN.
£60 for your standard edition, which I think is unprecedented. Then £75 for a special edition, where one of the bonuses is actual story missions not in the main game.
Wouldn't worry about the lack of Indians in this game - you're still going to get scalped.
I rarely look because digital's not for me (and 'pre-ordering' digital, wut?), but £60 sounds like the sort of price they've been getting away with for ages tbh.
Don't think I've seen a standard edition at that price before. A few have been sneaking up to £52.99 or £54.99, especially from the big publishers, but this is another step further and will only encourage others to do the same.
Plus, it's really holding stuff back for the special edition that seems like it should be in the standard one that feels off.
@three1ne Do you mind if I attempt to turn this into a 'guess the western' stills/gif game for a few days? A bit bored at work and also getting slightly hyype.
