Is this any good then? I notice it's cheap on Amazon and I'm considering spending a few quid on games. Bear in mind, I didn't love Bayonetta as much as I believe I was meant to. Although, I loved Powerstone back in the day, which this does remind me of.
It's easy to make comparisons to Power Stone but it's not really like it at all. Items arn't that common in a match and fights are decided by your own mettle/luck. Like a multiplayer Streets of Rage.
i think it's really fun... it's not immediately obvious how to play against real people, the only real advice is don't mash your buttons, try to control your presses as people combo break with the 360 attack the second they get hit.
2v2 tag mode is the one i've played the most, go online with a friend and then it's not usually too hard to get 2 randoms. I've never managed to get in a lobby of 8.
what part is hard? the bosses? on hard mode you generally have to block more and use items and props on the level, whereas you can get away not doing that stuff on normal.
The boss fights. I couldn't even get past Big Bull. I'd work pretty hard, get his health down and he'd press the Fuck You button and go on an unblockable rampage that takes out all or near enough all my health.
yeah, you have to spot when he's about to spin and not go near him. my advice to to be fairly liberal with your killer weapon. jumping killer light attack has crazy range, and landing killer heavy attacks for 2 bars does solid damage. also try farming some items before you try the mission.
it's been a bit since i plahyed but most bosses follow a distinct pattern, learn it and attack him when he's dizzy with heavy killer weapon and when you get rampage, use it to finish him in a mash off.
Taken over by Revengeance ironically and other stuff. I doubt the MP is going to be too populous now unless you fancy a continuous pasting by the obsessives.
