    Oooh Civ good shout
  • One of them would be in mine. Dunno which one, but probably V or VI.

I'm having trouble coming up with enough. I've got Dark Souls and a Civ, as mentioned, Fallout 4 VR... maybe a Spider-Man or Tony Hawk's... FTL? I really can't think of many games I'd want to just keep playing for ages.

Online, I'm thinking Second Life might be my pick. Dunno if there's an FPS I'd enjoy that's got a community still.

    Offline games:

Breath of the Wild - I haven't played this yet but can only assume that it is great because everyone loves it.

Dark Souls Remastered - I only scratched the surface of this on 360 but can imagine getting quite engrossed.

DiRT Rally - I haven't played this yet but it looks great (but I would consider swapping for Richard Burns Rally).

GTA V - I haven't finished the single player yet but can have endless fun in GTA games just messing around.

Rez Infinite - I haven't actually played this version yet but I assume that it is the one to choose with Area X.

Spelunky - Am I able to play Daily Challenge if this is not my Online choice? I may have to reconsider if not!

Trials Evolution - "The absolute best game in a monster of a series" to quote DS. I have nothing to add...

    Online game:

iRacing - Again, a 'game' that I haven't played yet; maybe there is a better hardcore online driving simulator?

    'Literature':

    Cosplay porn.

    Luxury:

Motion simulator rig with racing seat/controls (including optional VR even though it'll probably make me sick).

  • Tried to go for variety and long term playability rather than out-and-out favourites, although I do love 'em all. Ended up swapping out Super Metroid as it's been so damn long since I played it that I'm a lil worried about rose tintedness.

    Offline
Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath - A truly stunning game in a wonderfully realised world. I swapped out Super Metroid for this. Srsly.

Halo: CE - Played through this more times than I care to think about and will always be up for more.

Outrun 2: Coast 2 Coast - The perfect game to chill-out to.

The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD - I wanna live in this world. Minus Tingle.

Apple Jack 2 -  A true hidden gem of a puzzle platformer. It makes me feel all warm and fuzzy, even when I'm dying.

Borderlands 2 - Love this game so damn much. The world, the characters, the gameplay, the dialogue, just brilliant.

Armello - A charming digital board game that plays like a dream online or off. Close to perfect.

    Online
Overwatch -  Very close between this and Fortnite.  Both have been responsible for some of the most fun and memorable times I've had in gaming, but OW just pips it on sentimental value. Team Narcolepsy forever.

    The Art of Overwatch

Busts it wide open but also kinda goes against the spirit of the thing.

Online leaderboards and downloaded user created content are just as much a part of the modern online gaming experience as PvP or co-op PvE. The only parts for some people.
  • Can't grumble with that.  It is what it is as they say.

Yeah, i would go with that for the gaming luxury too. maybe one with a fridge full of beer included.

Deffo some tactical choices in the games - a few for fun, a couple to make use of the racing setup, and the last few more because of the potential for long term replaying rather than a 'favourite'.
And a proper book cos i'm not reading about games (plus it qualifies as background reading for the games)
