I've complained about them in the 'things that get on our tits' thread but it was a joy this evening showing two Spanish ladies in their 50s and 60s VR for the first time. They whooped in delight at Wander then screamed themselves silly on the rollercoasters. Madre mia was the cry.
Apollo 11 is fantastic. It's more of an app than a game but if it's ever less than a fiver it's a superb experience if you're a space nut like me. My Dad fucking loved it.
What you playing at the moment, hair? I'm looking to buy a new game. Think I might go for Moss. Have you played that?
Timely coincidence, started Moss a over a week ago and it's top of the pile tonight. The sensation of actually being 'in' a more traditional game honestly made chuckle and gasp. The 3D allows your head to poke around admiring the artistry to the full. One to savour.
retroking1981: Fuck this place I'm off to the pub.
Anyone tried Tea for God on Sidequest? It has a really clever locomotion system that uses your available space. One of the most immersive things I've tried so far.
I did some sidequesting yesterday and installed Deism and Tea for God, I also bought Gunclub and racket nx.
I've just completely drained my battery playing gunclub and had a quick blast on racket.
The Gunclub gun models are excellent and the functionality is absolutely spot on, it's a game that is pure gun porn. It would be nice if there was a manual for each gun, I bought a gun I love from battlefield games, some Russian tube magazine fed SMG, and I can't for the life of me figure out to get the magazine off to reload it.
I never even got a chance to try the sideloaded stuff out.
I also gave that gentleman's vr app out. Ahem.
I'm loving this device, its bringing back the childish joy of playing new games and new experiences, something I haven't felt for a while.
