Marble Madness II.   Never heard of it - an unreleased Atari arcade game. Nice.  Short and sweet run.

  • Yea the split screen competition was fun.

F-Zero run was enjoyable. Love that old school look of original F-Zero. They did a nice job recreating it in F-Zero 99.

Tried watching the SNES Tintin game run. Bloody dreadful game. The worst of 16bit platforming all in one place.  Gave up watching it.

  • I got through it, was painful. Made by RARE they said!

I've just watched Carl do the Mario Maker 2 segment. I was actually quite emotional by the end. So happy for him to have the million tick over on his segment.

  • The Metroid Dread race was  a good watch:

I thought it was an Infogrames game? Maybe they just published it.  It does have some technical niceties with the into/out of the screen thing. But it looked awful to play.

Lost Levels run was a great watch. Such a hard game - I completed the All Stars version back in the day but no way I could have done a "no continue" run of it.

Yeah, I don't think I got past world 2 in that. Possibly even world 1.

The Mario Sunshine run is one of the most wholesome things of the week. Dumb silly game, Shine get, the crowd shouting "hooray" every shine, following the Bluey run, and all tied together with two big himbo chads on the sofa, channeling their inner Bill and Teds and exuding huge energy for the full run.

    It's something else.

Oh, didn't know that. Might have to have a quick go via Switch Online.

Worth it. It's a splendid game and Nintendo showed even back then what they could do with a limited set of mechanics in level design.  I used to be able to get to world 4-3 on one credit before hitting a real tricky section just before the flagpole with a couple of single block platforms to negotiate past. Never got there with enough lives in stock to get past it without continuing.

GDQ also had a mental Arkanoid 1CC on NES. The guy used a paddle controller which is the only way that could be achieved - still a highly impressive feat. Not many have achieved it.  Bonus points for the Prof. Pat Pending haircut on the commentator.

Has clearly given up on the idea of ever having sex (again?).  A bit like those men who have their reading glasses on a chain around their neck.

Not watched one of those before, it's better than I imagined.

I liked the dev saying stuff like "Oh, that's how I did that too." And he's not bragging, it's just a statement.
