Now to turn it on and all the Facebook shit.

This is because my quest 1 has lens protectors on it so I can wear my glasses.
Just ordered protectors for my quest 2 but till then I've don't want to risk wearing my glasses so it's gonna be blurry.

Thank you Boris!b0r1s wrote:Dark Soldier wrote:what is the best link cable to hook one of these bad boys to the pc?
For sit down stuff I got this: AmazonBasics Double Braided Nylon USB Type-C to Type-A 3.1 Gen 1 Cable | 3 m, Dark Grey https://smile.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07D7NNJ61/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_fab_LdCHFbFQP6ZRM
3 metres no issues. I also bought a 5m extension cable for Alyx but rarely use it as it’s a bit thick.

I did ask a while ago, but it is a different console though. Happy to keep it to one if that's the feeling.
You don’t even need a router - I bought a usb dongle that you can host a hotspot from:bad_hair_day wrote:Honestly chaps, also get a cheap 5g/WiFi 6 router, hook it up to your computer and wireless PCVR awaits.

It is and it isn't. It's still the same store, same games and software and same operating system, just a newer model. I see it as a different model quest but a quest all the same. Hence my thought we should use the original quest thread as a place to discuss all things quest related

I just have standard glasses and use a lens protector on my quest to avoid scratching.
I just use that on my ORIGINAL POOR MANS QUEST and it works just fine.mannaboy wrote:Is the glasses spacer that comes in the box not good enough to use?
