'Quite nice' is how I'd describe all those things. Combat system gets better as you go along (more artes, spells unlocked etc...), but later still it gets a bit broken - there's some magic you can learn with one of the characters that is basically broken and it takes great willpower not to use it. Yuri has some nice combos though and there's plenty of variety as you're only in control of one protag at a time.
General art direction is just ok - a few standout moments (the town of Halure for instance) but in general it's forest area, ice area, desert area etc...
Animation is probably one of the best things about it - very fluid. Boss designs range from meh, to ohh, then back again. Nothing stands out massively - though the extra bosses you can bump into are pretty cool.
