impressive step up from what we’re usually offered

It felt conceptually lazy and designed to turn things into an ever ongoing thing without a larger overreaching story arc that actually goes anywhere. Watched two episodes. Not bad, at the end of the day its a murder mystery but it's fairly close to what I can remember of the book... Which was a sci fi murder mystery. The Daddy wrote:Well this doesn't sound all bad, will give it a shot since I like the sound of it: https://www.theguardian.com/tv-and-radio/2018/feb/01/altered-carbon-review-ambitious-netflix-sci-fi-is-flashy-flawed-and-funIf it is shit I might just let it play in the background to encourage more sci fi.impressive step up from what we’re usually offered

I've watched this, its good but the editing is a bit all over the shop at times. Got it if anyone wants to peruse. It was up on the web at release but obviously got taken down quick.
