In the past we've gone to the fitzroy in charlotte st as its cheap-ish. (and near casino).

Perhaps we could start in a pub and go to Be@1 (cheapish/good value cocktail bar) to cover bases. That could be achieved in either shoreditch or covent garden. Shoreditch isn't a bad shout as you can always end up in hoxton square or cargo etc which are much nicer than the west end clubs (imo).

Nick, I presumed this would be a Saturday so wouldn't make a difference if its near my work

Doesn't impact me where we go, Charlotte St or the Dean St side of Soho isn't a bad shout either, can be a bit pricey but lots of good pubs/bars and walkable to clubs.
