I see what you mean. The country you're fighting in and the style of map are selected randomly. But the maps themselves are build by hand. I would have said yes, but as far as I know Roujin hasn't played the new XCOM but looking at his reasoning in the above post, he doesn't have to have played it to be dissapointed by it.
