Was it always that expensive? I just checked, and the bottle of Sullivan's Cove I have is now £400 (the American Oak), which is absolute bonkers. I would rate it 7/10 - not bad, but not £400. Perhaps that's just the batch I have, as they are done in individual barrels.
Yamazaki 18 is worth every single penny of whatever it costs, which I appreciate is even more bonkers.
