Yeah, for the UK, this is huge. The potential audience is 10 times bigger than on BTTV for the weeklys, and having the PPV's as well all under the same roof for no extra cost is a hell of a deal. Seemingly Peacock doubled viewers for PPVs in 2 years, Netflix I suspect will have the same effect.

Without Vince, it's really starting to lean into the "World" part of the name.

It was pointed out that as Netflix has an ad supported tier, it's probably going to be 3 hours, and non ad subs will get a non commentary feed during them, or ads for WWE content.

I really hope they drop it back to 2 though.

The Netflix thing is massive.  I had always thought that if AEW really wanted to compete with WWE, that a deal with one of the big streaming services was the way to go.  WWE have made the jump first and have left them in the dirt.

If it gives the whole back catalogue and I can watch some 80s/90s Royal Rumbles on the back shift, I'll be happy.

I think as streaming companies finally realise that their current subscription model is unsustainable, we're going to see more and more things like sports rights being hoovered up by the major players. That's the sort of content that keeps your subscribers...um...subscribing, in the long term anyway, not wasting gazillions of dollars making films and shows that only work in the short term.

This was awesome. A Cody Punk clash in the rumble is gonna be really exciting and I'm pretty hyped for it. Not gonna lie I find the rumble rarely lives up to the hype but there's a lot of fun little spots they can do in this one that has me interested. Feels like there's more going on with who eliminates who than who actually wins which is the rumble ideal.
