Penny dropped with my rep team. Bless them. Understanding man to man much better, being more confident. I spoke too soon.
Got SSANBA Summer Slam tourney next week. Gonna be immense, hopefully, third time's a charm for my under 16s squad.
NBA is actually being interesting, all things considered.
Warriors are now humming. Durrant is rim protection, and maybe it's something they need to worry about in a 7 game series, but jesus, they are putting up offense. Amazing stats from Klay 60 point game: 60 points, 29 minutes, 90 secs in possession, 11 dribbles.
Cavs are cruising, some funny big losses, but they are amazeballs when on.
My mate is a massive hawks fan, his running commentary on the decline in the last 10+ games has been lollers.
Even with slump, I think Clips will be fine.
Feel for grizzlies after the conley injury. their new fitness guy was helping us at helping Hoops this year. he's super young and just finishing his masters. Super keen to hear whether parson's knee is never going to return. (This dude would have got the hire because he's borderline genius with injury recovery and prevention.)
Mayber. But the games I've watched, including the cavs blow out, show promise.
Someone has got to Snell about his shooting footwork, so he's swaying forward and I think his percentages are gonna rise. Delly is solid. Munroe played GREAT defense against the cavs. So it's in there. He's a great bench backup if he can give you post scoring and play D.
Henson starting I like.
The Greek is just amazing. Needs to take some of these mid range shots in rhythm when they're there though.
I've been watching this. Love this guy for his channel. Lots of vid of teams running the same plays multiple times, gives you such an understanding of how basketball works.
So a year ago LA had no nfl team. Now they have two LA Rams and LA Chargers (formerly san diego). I feel sorry for fans in St. Louis and San Diego. It's pretty nasty having your team moved by a money grabbing billionaire owner
There's talk of the Raiders moving to Las Vegas soon as well. They've got a very odd approach to this stuff, quite how they got into cities paying for stadiums in the first place is a mystery. Seems very unAmerican.
The stadium thing is interesting. GSW ownership have made a big deal about how they haven't done the whole make the city council pay thing, with a hole lot of subtle shots at that method. I find it hard to believe they're not being shit capitalist pigs in other ways, but the narrative of it being a bad deal for cities to pay for stadiums has gained some traction.
(This is probably the exception that proves the rule or sommat, though.)
Patriots V Falcons superbowl. A record 7th superbowl for Tom Brady and Billecheck. Crazy. If Patriots win they will both have a record 5th superbowl wins.
Just seen the Patriots V steelers highlights. Damn the Patriots were good. Matt Ryan and Falcons destroyed Green Bay. This superbowl could be amazing. Shame gronk is out for the rest of the season.
Nfl UK tickets, premium seats sale starts 10am Tuesday. Then normal tickets from Thursday. These are for Jacksonville Jaguars V Balitimore Ravens and New Orleans Saints v Miami Dolphins in late September.
Tickets for the dates in October, LA Rams v Arizona Cardinals and Minnesota Vikings v Cleveland Browns don't go on sale till April.
Guess Saints v Dolphins will go like hot cakes. I want Vikings v Browns personally. Yep the Browns are shit, but they are guaranteed number 1 pick in the draft so in theory we'd get to see the number 1 draft of 2017 play at Wembley. Also Vikings were hot favs for superbowl till they fell apart.
Still hoping I get to see Tom Brady or Aaron Rodgers before they retire in the UK games in near future.
