Conservative in a conservative bubble.
They're not open to other pov because conservatism is all they know. People with other political viewpoints are strange beasts, threatening even as she's never had to venture among them. Certainly not outnumbered in a rowdy crowd yelling for their rights. From a conservative perspective those rights have to be 'earned', they do not come free. The idea of society and the government being social is alien to her. To most conservatives government is literally red tape: a necessary evil which needs to be minimised as much as possible. The people at the rally want the exact opposite which unsettles her lol. At least she's being honest.
Cohen's tape was to be expected. Not paydirt yet but it unveils a lot about Trump's true nature.

It would need two thirds of the Senate, if it even passed the House. Paul Ryan doesn't agree with it, so it's not getting through there. Not going to happen.
Also interesting how the media views Trump's agressive negotiation tactics. A looming EU/US trade war for instance. It's just Trump's strongman tactic of the opening move, initiating talks with a strong treath intimidating his perceived opponent, in this case Juncker. It's a tactic that works for him in business and he applies it to politics as well.

Having just spent a week in the States, talking with some fairly senior ex service personnel, so ex special forces guys and some fairly senior government contractors, I was surprisingly pleased to find out that not one of them supports Trump. Emotions ranged from embarrassment, disgust to hatred.
They mainly just wanted to convince me that he isn't representative of America and Americans, which was reassuring.
Spotify has scrubbed them all, but IIRC youtube only dropped a handful of the worst episodes, rather than blocking that hateful piece of shit completely.
Spotify have only deleted certain episodes, so they are still supporting him and allowing him to make money on their platform. I would like to think people would boycott them but I just don't think enough people give a shit.
